Opening in 2013, Summerhall Distillery situated in the old Dick Vet school just off The Meadows in central Edinburgh. Their opening marked the first exclusive gin distillery in Edinburgh for over 150 years! Founded by old friends and now business partners Marcus Pickering and Matthew Gammell on their passion and shared love of the spirits industry and the idea of turning the old vets dog kennels into a functioning distillery. Now their business goes from strength to strength!
Spicy, sweet and intense, it’s a decadent trip back to the last days of the Raj. Cardamom, coriander, clove and cinnamon spice lead to a crisp, refreshing and long finish.
